Technology and nature intermingle: while projecting their own technological future, people are daily inspired by multiple and complex natural phenomena. From computer microprocessors, where thousands of electrical impulses take back to the huge brain electrical links network, to the use of phenomena such as radioactivity, that is used to date old books or to restore paintings. The scientists’ study is continuously turned to the animal world, scenario of the most different physical behaviours, such as a gliding bird’s flight or some insects’ natural luminescence, and it is possible to find a correspondence with the new technologies.
