AWARDS
The Jury awarded titles in the Category of Documentaries, and not in the other categories. According to the high level of the titles in competition the Festival agreed the Jury the faculty to assign two prizes in the Documentary Category, not only one.
The winners of 2012 edition of Vedere la Scienza Festival are
First Award - Category DOCUMENTARIES
• Stem Cell Revolutions (United Kingdom, 2011, 72 min)
Award: 2.000,00 euro
Second Award - Category DOCUMENTARIES
• Programma 101. The Machine that Changed the World (Italy, 2011, 52 min)
Award: 1.500,00 euro
The Jury also assigned two Special Mentions to:
• Abdus Salam. The Dream of Symmetry (Italy, 2011, 58 min)
• Life in Hell. Survivors of Darkness (France, 2010, 49 min)
The winners will be screened to the public on Tuesday the 3rd April 2012, from 14:30 to 17.00
at the Mediateca Santa Teresa (Via Moscova 28) with this programme
