VIPs are the superpowered beings of a distant past and a glorious heritage. Two of their modern descendants are the brothers SuperVip, worthy heir of his heritage, and MiniVip, who, by some genetic quirk, is instead rather weak and suffers from this inadequacy. To help him, SuperVip invites his brother on a relaxing cruise, which ends up being a most unusual adventure. Having fallen into the sea with a strange lion, his companion, MiniVip reaches an island inhabited by a gang headed by Happy Betty, a wicked woman who wants to subject the world to her sly doings. Taking advantage of a discovery made by a scientist, she has created an atomic city in which half a million slaves work. MiniVip and the lion (who turns out to be Lisa, a student interested in supermen) are in trouble but SuperVip suddenly comes to their aid. Unfortunately, however, he has a crush on Lisa and this makes him imprudent and vulnerable to danger. MiniVip also finds a soul mate. Her name is Nervustrella, a girl that Happy Betty uses as guinea pig. Lost in love, SuperVip is captured along with Lisa and Nervustrella. MiniVip is chosen to serve as guinea pig for Happy Betty’s last experiment before her master operation, aimed at putting the world at the service of women, is put into action. Everything seems to be headed for the worse when, suddenly and thanks to MiniVip, everything starts heading the right way and Happy Betty’s evil plan turns against her and her colleagues. Once again, good triumphs over evil and the two VIPs both win their gals. Directed by a genius of the animation genre, the film is an amusing satire of the mechanisms of advertisement, politics and consumerism.
